Carol joined our pastoral staff in January of 1997 to oversee Children's Ministries, with a desire to see children grow in their love for Jesus in an exciting, yet safe environment. In Family Care Ministries, the focus is to provide practical and emotional support and resources for the many stages of life. In June of 2011, Carol transitioned from Children's Ministries to Community Connections, helping Oakwood to reach out to our community with the compassion of Christ, both at Oakwood and out in our area communities. Helping people find and enjoy their niche of service for the Lord is Carol's greatest joy in ministry.

Carol and her husband Terry have raised four children and  have  6  grandchildren . They enjoy family visits, home & garden projects and playing in the Oakwood orchestra together.
