SEASONS: ADULT EDUCATION ~WINTER

During each part of the year we desire to provide adult education for disciple making. We offer a variety of options so you can best select the class for you depending upon your own season of life—whether it has to do with the joy of simply walking through the Bible, or pursuing manhood issues, or parenting or handling the daily routine of managing your resources. Perhaps you just want to try out a starter small group or take some first steps as a follower of Christ. Whatever your season, we are here for you.

Lessons from the Sermon on the Mount
In this sermon (Matthew 5-7) Jesus reveals His “kingdom agenda” by teaching His disciples how to live a life that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. Jesus said the true disciple is “the one who does the will of the Father” (Matthew 7:21). How does your walk with Jesus reflect “the will of the Father”? We will examine the answer to this question as we walk through these verses together.

How to Avoid Messing Up Your Life With Wrong Beliefs
What you believe about the fundamentals of our faith really matters!  Our beliefs affect how we approach and interpret life's events.  This affects how we feel when “life happens” to us.  What we feel affects how we act. This, in turn, affects our relationships with others and our quality of life.  So… getting our beliefs right has a direct relationship on our well-being and our satisfaction with life. The EFCA has prayerfully assembled our core beliefs into 10 statements, which articulate our positions on the tenets of faith. Getting these right will make your life better! Getting them wrong can really mess you up!
Please pre-register for this class!
[Optional cost: $25 for the book, Evangelical Convictions; the book is not required]
