Welcome to We Women of Oakwood Church!
What a privilege we have to share in the grand calling of “making disciples to reach the Lake Country and the world for Christ.” As I watch women—with all kinds of gifts and all kinds of passions—live lives that are beyond just themselves, I’m struck by a consistent pattern. We women love to share! Whether it’s what we know, what we have, who Jesus is, or how we do what we do…we share.
And at its core, isn’t that what making disciples is all about? Sharing our lives with others in a way that both we and they can grow and change and love and follow Jesus all the more!
As a disciplemaking ministry, We Women offers you resources to grow in your own “heart and hands” response to the love of Jesus, as well as to share your life with others. We’re committed to providing avenues that encourage you to relationally engage with other women, to help establish you in your relationship with Jesus, to equip you to be all that God’s created you to be, and to support you as you expand your personal influence and do the same in the lives of other women.
Wherever you are in your faith… let’s grow together. It’s our privilege to share!
